Travel Expense Record

Are you planning a big trip and wondering how much it will cost? Want to keep track of all of your travel expenses so you don't blow your budget?  We have the answer.

Keeping track of your expenses can be hard work, but we found that the secret to staying on top of it and staying motivated was to get real-time VISUAL FEEDBACK of your progress.

That's why, while travelling the world in 2008, we developed an Excel workbook that does it all.

What can it do?

• keep track of every expense in every currency you use, so you don't blow your budget,
• calculate your daily spend in your home currency,
• calculate your average daily spend, so you know if you're on track,
• calculate your future daily budget, so you know what you can afford in the future, and
• give you a graphical breakdown of your expenses by category and by country.

You simply set it up for the period you want to travel and enter the amount you have to spend, and it will tell you what you can afford day-by-day.  If you earn money along the way, you can add it in as you go.

By sticking to the plan, you'll make your money last all the way to the end, and maybe even have enough for that big souvenir splurge at the end!

And the best thing is that when you get home you'll have a complete record of your travels, so you can look back and admire your hard work, and recommend all the things you did and the places you went to your friends, without having to keep a diary or guess the dates and costs
